Hi, I'm Emily.

I am a graphic designer with an interest in Digital Graphics, Motion Graphics, Web Design & Development, CMS Management, Software Training & basic IT Support.

Outside of work, I like to create with my hands. Crocheting, knitting, painting, sewing, you name it. At work, so many projects involve me staring at a screen but working with my hands is how I am able to separate work and home.

FAQ

I’ve been using the Adobe Creative Suite for about 10 years now. I am most proficient in Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.

I have experience with protoyping software such as Figma and Adobe XD and am constantly working on my expertise in these programs.With part of my background being in CMS Management, I have the most experience with Content Management Platforms such as Modern Campus (Omni Update) and WordPress.

I am also familiar with standard messaging software (i.e. Teams, Slack, Hangouts), video conferencing software (i.e. Zoom & Google Meet) and extensive experience with Office 365 and the Google Suite.

All that being said, I am a quick learner and enjoy learning new programs.

No. I believe both Windows and macOS have their merits and I am able to switch between the two with ease. That being said, my current office setup includes mostly Apple products.

In 2023, I’d like to work on achieving the Adobe Certified Professional in Web Design. This certification would demonstrate my proficiency in Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Animate.

I’ve also been known to follow many SkillShare and Youtube tutorials to either learn new techniques or brush up on skill I already have.

I also try to post whatever I’m working on to my Instagram and TikTok, whether that be my vacation, drawings, my dogs or whatever catches my eye.
